Launch Global began in 2005 by placing groups of believers into year-long, cross-cultural training cohorts, stemming from a desire to send more healthy long-term laborers to the nations. This process existed almost entirely outside of the local church until 2011, when Launch Global partnered with The Austin Stone Community Church.
This partnership in Austin, Texas showed the essential value of partnering with churches in order to send more people to the unreached. Connection to the local church body was the missing piece and resulted in explosive growth and an increase in believers seeking cross-cultural training.
Since then, Launch Global has grown from four employees to 140 and now serves 22 local church partnerships. Launch Global staff has sent over 500 global workers to the unreached since 2014.
What country would I go to? How would I raise support? What sending agency would I go with?
